"We provide high-quality DTF transfers for your shirt apparel, offering both single transfers and gang sheets for your convenience."
To press a DTF (direct-to-film) transfer onto a shirt, follow these steps:
1. **Prepare the heat press**: Set the heat press temperature to 320°F 160°C and adjust the pressure to medium. Preheat the press for a few minutes.
2. **Prepare the shirt**: Place the shirt on the heat press platen, smoothing out any wrinkles or folds. Make sure the shirt is properly aligned.
3. **Position the transfer**: Lay the DTF transfer film onto the shirt with the printed design facing down. Align the design in the desired position on the shirt.
4. **Cover the transfer**: Place a piece of parchment paper or a Teflon sheet over the transfer film to protect the design during pressing.
5. **Press the transfer**: Close the heat press and apply pressure for around 10–15 seconds. This allows the ink to adhere to the shirt.
6. **Remove the shirt**: Carefully open the heat press and remove the shirt. Let it cool down for a few seconds.
7. **Peel off the transfer**: Once the transfer is cool, peel the film away from the shirt in a smooth motion, starting from one corner. The design should be left on the shirt.
8. **Finish the process**: For best results, press the shirt again for an additional 5-10 seconds to set the design firmly into the fabric.
Following these steps should give you a successful DTF transfer onto your shirt. Adjust the time, temperature, and pressure settings as necessary based on your specific heat press and transfer materials.
